Perfect venue with unforgettable views!
I recently stayed at the Landmark Inn in early October and hosted two business meetings there. The entire experience was exceptional. The food was amazing, and the setup in both rooms was exactly as I requested. The view from the Sky Room was absolutely unforgettable, adding a special touch to our event.
The staff was incredibly kind and helpful, going above and beyone to ensure our event was a success. The rooms were modern, spotlessly clean and the bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. I highly recommned the Landmark Inn for both business and leisure stays.
Highly Recommend!
Stay here! I cannot say enough about how wonderful the Landmark Inn was for our stay. The hotel itself is gorgeous and the staff is very helpful and friendly. We had dinner at the Northland Pub and the food and drinks were amazing! The room was beautiful, immaculate, and bed very comfortable. I would highly recommend experienceing this beautiful historic building!
Wedding Reception Experience (Sky Room)
I am a fall 2024 bride from 7 hours down state. My husband and I booked the Sky View room for a little reception with our family after our ceremony and let me tell you we weren’t disappointed! Nikki (the banquet captain) was extremely helpful! She went above and beyond her job to make sure I was happy and satisfied with every little detail. She made sure I was able to get into the room the night before to set up with no problems and she had excellent communication every step of the way. Our family could not stop talking about how beautiful everything turned out, how delicious the food was and how friendly Nikki was. I also want to mention Tory, she was our bartender for the night! She was very personable, funny as heck and made some excellent drinks! Our families loved Nikki and Tory so it made us happy that the staff was so pleasant to work with and made everyone feel at home. This is what my husband and I love most about the U.P is the hospitality and the girls were all over that!
Another wonderful thing about this place is that they are DOG FRIENDLY! Our golden retriever Toast loved it here. He was the star of the show and the staff made that known haha! I felt sooooo comfortable staying here with him. He was able to be with us for a part of our reception which was a pretty big deal for us dog parents
Relaxing UP Visit
This hotel was quaint and within walking distance to downtown Marquette.
This was our first trip to Marquette. The hotel was historic but the accommodations were nice.
The bed was very comfortable and room was spacious. The towels were plush which is a good sign of a high end hotel.
The staff were all very helpful and friendly! Would definitely stay again.
Great choice in downtown Marquette
A lovely building and room. Nice and clean. Comfortable beds and pillows. Wonderful shower and a nice big bathroom.
Parking is a little tight but we were able to park in the lot each night.
The front desk attendants were very helpful when it came to nearby restaurants and activities.
Good location, very walkable.
Classic and Elegant Inn with a fun twist
The Landmark Inn did not disappoint. We wanted something a little different from a typical chain hotel. Old world charm and elegance mixed with extraordinary service. Be sure to check out the Mermaid Lounge on the 6th floor. It was a fun spot to meet friends for drinks. They made a PERFECT Old Fashion. The pub on the ground floor was also fun and served yummy pub food. Try the shrimp po' boy or a burger.
We were pleased that we booked a 2 room suite at the Landmark, rather than booking 2 rooms at a nondescrpit chain hotel. Beds were comfortable and having 2 bathrooms was a real bonus. Staff were friendly and the location was walking distance to downtown restaurants and shops. We also enjoyed cocktails at the cute bar on the 6th floor. We had a view of the lake and ski hill. Would definately choose to stay at the Landmark again.
The Landmark Inn is our favorite place to stay in Marquette. The classic hotel has a fantastic downtown waterfront location and unique rooms with comfortable beds. Last night we had a delicious meal at their restaurant, and previously we’ve enjoyed cocktails at their rooftop bar with gorgeous views of Lake Superior.
The staff was very friendly and pleasant. Food at the small bar/restaurant was very good. Great drinks in "Crow's Nest", with a wonderful view of the ore dock and Superior. Room was comfortable and reminded us of the Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island. Not part of a chain, so not at all "cookie-cutter" decor or attitude . It is always our first choice of lodging in Marquette.
